I'm Alexandra Teare, the proprietor of 24 Carrot Catering
and I would like to share my passion and love for fine cuisine with you. It
is this passion that drives the company and I believe it shows in all of our
products and services.

I always enjoy your feedback and/or questions. At 24 Carrot Catering, we continue
our commitment to you with lots of creative cooking ideas for your palettes
and recipe boxes.
Our corporate clients include
shopping malls, department stores, accounting firms, financial institutions,
schools, colleges, medical establishments, bus tours, contractors, movies,
governments and theatres. As you will see, the functions that we can accommodate
are as diverse as our list of clients.
Working breakfasts can
be as simple as muffins, scones and a coffee, or as elaborate as frittata,
hashbrowns and sausages. The Home Depot provided an elaborate breakfast to
a contractors meeting and the feedback was excellent!
Our mainstay is the Working
Lunch, often a platter of sandwiches, all made with fresh homestyle breads
and a variety of fillings. For example, imagine having curried egg roll-ups
with a touch of mango chutney and sliced peaches for your lunch. We often
finish off the lunch platter with fresh vegetables and a creative dip. Complete
your lunch with a slice of our famous carrot cake, moist and decadent with
cream cheese icing and accompanied by a selection of fresh fruit
Social or business events
often use our Hor's D'oeuvres menu which caters to the
fussiest of palettes. Or for something more daring, how about a Thai sushi
roll filled with mango, roasted cashews and gourmet greens with a Sake and
ginger dipping sauce? We can deliver the product for your presentation and
hosting or we can manage the whole catering operation, including bartenders
and extra wait staff if required.
The size of a function
is not an issue for 24 Carrot Catering. At a recent breakfast, we served 850
people. And we have made a special dinner for two on a number of occasions.
As you can probably guess,
Christmas is a very busy time of year for 24 Carrot Catering. We strive to
make the Christmas menu unique, creative,
varied and memorable. Locations without kitchens do not pose a problem, as
we prepare the dishes in our commercial kitchen prior to delivery. If your
numbers rise above 350 people then we can assist you in renting a hall or
other venue that has a kitchen that accommodates the larger numbers.
We have a variety of pricing
options with our menus. If you wish full table service, several venues or
meals or just something slightly different, we can rise to the challenge.
Many customers allow us to create special dishes for them -- the space to
play with new ideas and trends.
Some of our favorite private
events include weddings, christenings, retirements,
reunions, funerals, summer parties, cocktail parties, anniversaries and birthdays.
Sometimes our clients choose
a theme for an event. One particular favorite was a Mexican experience. We
created Chicken Mole Poblano, Tamales, Jicama and pineapple salad…Ole! Our
focus is on creatively incorporating global cuisine into dishes to produce
a unique west-coast style experience.
Our clients can expect
professionalism, creativity and lots of compliments! They commonly remark
on how they are able to relax and enjoy the party. A good
impression is always important, so we leave the kitchen at all of our
venues shiny and spotless.
