Thanks for preparing such an amazing meal for us last night. It was easily the best food I have had in awhile and the compliments of how tasty it was were heard throughout the evening. In addition, Ally is a great server - so helpful and such a polite and capable person. She really does her job well and is an asset to 24 CC.

Thank you so much for the wonderful Diabetic birthday cake that your chef made for my mother's 60th birthday party at the end of October. Alex catered my wedding at the beginning of August. I cannot rave enough about the food and the service. I am from San Francisco, so I really did not know what to expect from caterers in the area. A friend highly recommended Carrots On The Run to us, so we decided just to go with them and not worry about it. I am so glad we did. First Alex sent us a great menu, and everything looked amazing. (Of course, as you know, how things read don't necessarily reflect how they taste.) Alex was very flexible when it got closer to the wedding and we wanted to change the entrees. She recommended bbq steaks with a condiment bar, and a grilled chicken for the entrees. I am so glad she did! They both were delicious, and the condiment bar was devoured.
But that was just the ending. The evening started with salmon with a blueberry compote (sounds iffy, but was so well balanced with sweet and savory), seared tuna on cucumber, and cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. Everything was so delicious, it was hard to believe.
We had a beet salad which got eaten very quickly, a black-eyed pea salad, as well as a spinach salad; the sides were roasted veggies and veggies in a phlyo dough, and a rice dish. The sides complemented the entrees perfectly. We also had tofu kabobs, which every vegetarian (and some meat eaters, too!) loved.
I know this sounds like a paid advertisement, but if you decide to work with Alex, you will have no worries at all. Not only is her food exceptional, but her staff is amazing. Whenever I requested something, it was taken care of, instantly. They were a lovely to be around, and seemed to truly take pleasure in their work.Thank you so much,

RCMP Appreciation Night
We are extremely happy with the collaboration of the Nanaimo New Car Dealers Association, A-Channel, the central Vancouver Island Crisis Society and 24 Carrot Catering to present our RCMP Appreciation Night fundraising event at Beban Park. February 16th , 2008 marked our second annual event and for both years 24 Carrot Catering served a full course meal. The first year they catered a sit down dinner to almost 400 people and this year that number was nearly 500.
A superb three course meal consisting of Prime rib complete with Yorkshire pudding was enjoyed by all. The meal was served hot, well prepared and beautifully presented. We received excellent comments after the events about how impressed people were with the food and the timeliness of the service. This caterer operates in a very professional manner with attention to every detail.
We have enjoyed working with 24 Carrot Catering and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

We hired 24 Carrot Catering for our daughter Kristin's wedding in July 05. It was definitely an excellent choice. Kristin was very impressed and pleased with how well Alex communicated with her and "listened" to her during the planning stages. Because of this Alex was able to establish a thoughtful menu that was exactly right for our wedding. She even had to do produce this meal on Gabriola Island at a place without a proper kitchen for a caterer. The team Alex sent over to set up and start the cooking process were wonderful. A very lovely pair that were patient and understanding of nervous mums and other people that got in their way. They let me know when, if needed (and it was), I should tell them we were running late so they could factor that into their process and have the food ready for the later time. Alex also arrived and the three of them set up a beautiful buffet with excellent food. We could not have been happier with the meal. So many people told us how much they enjoyed the food that I knew it was as tasty as I thought. 24 Carrot was a perfect choice and many thanks to them for helping to make our wedding as perfect as it was.

July 16 2005 was a very special day for my husband and me.
Our only daughter was married in our garden at our home in Yellow point. Alex you were an enormous help in planning the menu, preparing all of the “fantastic” food, pairing the wines, picking up the beer keg from Longwood Brew Pub, making a special champagne drink -- raspberry liquor, champagne with fresh raspberries, for the toasts to the bride and groom.
The most important task undertaken by you (gratis-- I might add) was to assure the “slightly” stressed mother of the bride that the sun would shine and everything would be perfect. You were right !
The delicious food was served to 50 family and friends throughout the ? acre property by three servers. These young women were extremely professional, and personable.
–“The wedding cake baked by Leri Giannotti was also a huge success. My sister-in law, who doesn’t eat cake, reported “I went back for seconds”, one of Alexis’s friends, who is quite “figure conscious”, had three pieces.
Our daughter Alexis and our new son-in-law Ian both said “their afternoon was perfect”. We could not have done it without you,
