As the New Years festivities at Cyber City have died down, I felt it an opportune time to say a huge THANK YOU for the prepared Christmas Family Meal you made for me.
Totally scrumptious and my family TOTALLY enjoyed the "repast".
As for me........it lessened my stress levels considerably and I was able to be more relaxed after the meal to join in the fun. The meal was ready and on the table in 20 minutes!

We have chosen to go with 24 Carrot Catering for several reasons. First and foremost the food is of an excellent quality. It is always fresh and there is plenty of variety. Alex uses different grains for her bread sandwiches and also includes various mini wraps. Her scones include fresh fruit and, usually, plain and white chocolate chips which are always popular. Simply put, I have very high expectations and Alex has NEVER disappointed me. The last thing I wanted to worry about on my wedding day was the food (and I didn't!) My husband and I got married on July 13, 2002. We decided on a Medieval style wedding, right down to the food we ate! We had interviewed a few caterers, but no one seemed to share the vision that we had. When we met with Alex her ideas were pouring out of her like a true artist. No matter how eccentric or off-the-wall we wanted to go, she had a way, or knew a person, that could make it happen. Eventually, and stress-free, we arranged a menu that could suit everybody's taste. And her food truly is the art and decor. There was no need for any extra decorations or props- one less thing to worry about! All in all, once the decision was made on the menu, Alex and her crew took over and we had nothing to worry about. "We were utterly delighted with the barbecue which 24 Carrot did for our wedding in Nanaimo in August. It perfectly suited the atmosphere we were aiming for and our guests from around the world were thrilled. Not only was the food delicious, but exquisitely presented. Alex truly has a flair for artistic presentation and innovative use of unusual ingredients. As the bride and the only vegetarian in the party, I wanted interesting dishes which I could eat, but which would also appeal to everyone else - Alex certainly satisfied this! The menu choice available could not fail to appeal to all tastes.
As we did not want a traditional wedding cake, Alex's suggestion of the lemon and blueberry cake worked extremely well and had everyone coming back for more!
